She also played Daphne, a recurring character in season two of HBO's drama True Blood. Ashley Jones obtained a Bachelor of Human Learning (K-8) from University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. Her first job was teaching Reading in Kindergarten as well as the 1st grade at Maury County. Brent Jones moved from UT Martin to Thompsons Station after she got married. Bethesda Elementary was where she first taught fourth grade. In 1999 and 2000 she taught as she completed her Masters in Instruction at Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped away from the classroom when they welcomed their oldest son Baylor into the family in the year 2000. Ashley's most recent 15-year mission has been on encouraging children to grow within her own church and the surrounding community. She also serves as a volunteer in different roles. Ashley has been a leader in the Preschool and the Student Ministry of Thompson Station Church for over 13 years. Ashley's children were homeschooled throughout the time she spent at the home. Ashley was a teacher of History in Kindergarten as well as the 1st grade in the homeschool, also attended this tutorial.
