Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox went to an institution called the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She studied the harpsichord and flute for three full years. Lennox's budget was increased by the stipend of a student which she earned while working part-time in order to meet her financial obligations. Lennox believed that her abilities aren't the same as her Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other paths she could take. Lennox was a flute player in a band formed in 1976 called Dragons Playground. The group didn't make it to the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. She was the main singer of The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. This is where she first came across Dave Stewart with whom she formed her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her debut solo album Diva in the year 1992. The album had a tremendous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted in October 2014. This C.D. comprises a selection Lennoxs most loved blues and soul tunes of her childhood. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four original tracks for piano that Lennox dropped in May 2019. This E.P. is a companion piece to her exhibit in The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled Now I Let You go... Her first solo album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is an activist who is a singer and philanthropist native to Scotland. The latter part of the 70s was when Lennox gained some not-so-great acclaim as the lead singer of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety as Eurythmics. Lennox was able to begin her solo career in 1992, with the release of her debut album Diva featuring many successful songs such as the hit songs Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa is her album in 1995. studio, features covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer has produced six solo studio albums, as well as one compilation album.
